Is this the coolest looking electric vehicle yet? It’s called the Wolf and it’s the creation of the start-up Alpha Motor Corporation that is hoping to use the rise of EVs to join the car industry.
The Wolf isn’t your typical aerodynamically-shaped EV blob, instead it has a striking resemblance to Marty McFly’s Toyota SR5 pickup from Back to the Future. The bold styling, flared guards and chunky off-road tyres give the Wolf a tougher look than your average EV.
It will be powered by a 85kWh lithium-ion battery giving it a range of up to 440km and the ability to accelerate 0-60mph (96km/h) in just 6.2 seconds. It also has the ability to tow 1360kg and has a tray bed measuring 1651mm in length.
The Wolf is a single-cab ute but Alpha is planning a Wolf+ crew cab and the dual-cab SuperWolf. Unfortunately, the small start-up hasn’t announced any plans for the Australian market yet.
