K&N will supply oil and filters to the V8 Utes Racing Series

MEDIA RELEASE: The Australian V8 Ute Racing Series today announced a two year deal with K&N to be the control oil and air filter supplier to the Series.

The USA based company specialises in performance filters for road and race cars and bikes, bringing over 45 years of motorsport experience to the series.

Richard Smith, K&N Business Manager, Australasia is looking forward to the partnership.

“Being a production based race category, the V8 Ute race vehicles perform in hostile conditions that far exceed those of regular road cars,” said Smith.

“The K&N oil and air filters are the perfect products to lift the performance for the race Ute’s, and we are really excited to be a part of the category moving forward.

“We see the V8 Ute Series as a great way to showcase and test the K&N product.”

The K&N product is a world class filtration company selling air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, cabin filters and air intakes in over 30 countries.

K&N sells over 7,000 products designed for cars, trucks, motorcycles, engines, and industrial applications.

“K&N is an internationally renowned brand and to have them join the Series is testament to the strength of the V8 Ute category,” explained Category Manager, Craig Denyer.

“K&N is involved in many race applications worldwide, and will no doubt fit well with the tough competitive nature of V8 Ute racing.

“We’ve been working with K&N for a number of years now, so it’s great to see the deal finally come together.”

The K&N brand will feature on the front spoilers of all 32 V8 Utes with all practice, qualifying sessions and races telecast live through Fox Sports from all rounds this year.

The V8 Ute Series is also televised internationally to over 40 countries including New Zealand, Europe and the USA.
