V8 Ute Series steps up to Mainline Dyno Technology

Mainline DynoLog will join the V8 Utes Racing Series as a commercial partner
MEDIA RELEASE: Australia’s foremost Dynamometer Manufacturing Company, Dynamometers, has joined the 2015 Australian V8 Ute Racing Series as a commercial partner to promote their Prohub, axle hub, chassis dynamometers.
From the Mainline factory based in South West Sydney, the company manufactures and sells an extensive range of dynamometer products within Australia, and exports to the UK, Europe, USA, Asia, New Zealand and Middle East regions.
The Prohub Chassis Dyno will be on display at selected rounds, will be used to check performance levels and help iron out any tuning issues that teams may have over the race weekend.
The ProHub Chassis Dynamometers are the ultimate “in chassis” tuning solution for ultra-performance street, strip and race vehicle applications, effectively bridging the gap between an engine dynamometer and a roller based chassis dynamometer.
Craig Mahoney Sales Director, Mainline Dyno is looking forward to the year ahead.
“We are really excited to be a part of the V8 Ute Racing Series,” said Mahoney.
“We are highly committed to accuracy and we follow the approach that the Dynamometer should determine a vehicles power, not the operator.
“We hope to bring our highly advanced and accurate equipment to assist the team in the technical management of the Series.”
Mainline Dyno’s “Smart Dyno Technology” is recognised as the true & trusted standard for accuracy, and consistency throughout the industry and Category Manager of SPHERIX Bill West couldn’t be happier to have them involved in the Series.
“We’re happy to welcome Mainline Dyno to the Series, to have access to this accurate equipment is fantastic for the Series and for the teams,” said West.
“They are a great brand and see the marketing opportunity that the V8 Ute Series offers, particularly the international coverage the series receives and the opportunity to promote the product into areas they export to.”
Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers has been involved in Australian motorsport for many years with the Holden Racing Team (HRT) and engine management specialist MoTec, amongst others, who are also involved with the V8 Utes Series as the control ECU supplier.
Mainline Dyno branding will feature on the front and back number plates of all 32 V8 Utes with all practice, qualifying sessions and races telecast live through Fox Sports from all rounds this year.
The V8 Ute Series is also televised internationally to over 40 countries including New Zealand, Europe and the USA.
