Woodstock Bourbon has joined Tickford Racing as an associate partner for the 2018 season, which sees the brand partner with Chaz Mostert and his No. 55 Supercheap Auto Ford Falcon FG X.
Woodstock Bourbon has been involved in the Supercars Championship for the past three years, and in sponsoring Tickford Racing adds to the team’s program as it progresses through its 16th season of Supercars competition.
“We are absolutely rapt to be partnered with Woodstock Bourbon,” said team principal Tim Edwards. “Woodstock is a high profile brand with high quality products, and we at Tickford Racing aim to produce high quality race cars, so it’s a natural partnership that offers excellent opportunities for both parties on and off the track. Obviously, Woodstock has a strong history in Supercars over the past few years, and together we look forward to writing a winning future.”
Michael Edmonds, General Manager of Marketing at Asahi Premium Beverages, echoed Edwards’ remarks and the excitement behind the new partnership.
“Over the past three years, Woodstock has enjoyed a strong association with Supercars and we are looking forward to growing that for 2018 and beyond,” said Edmonds. “We are very excited to now officially support Tickford Racing, and build our association across both team and driver behind Supercheap Auto Racing.”
As the Supercars championship crosses its halfway point, Mostert sits ninth in the series championship.
Tickford Racing and Woodstock head to Queensland this weekend for the Ipswich SuperSprint, Round 9 of the 2018 Supercars season. Mostert and Tickford Racing will compete in Races 19 and 20 of the year across the July 20-22 weekend at Queensland Raceway.
