The Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli (ASBK) Round 1 at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit will blast onto viewer’s screens with SBS bringing the action to viewers this Sunday, March 11 from 1:00pm.
Fox Sports will also deliver all the thrills and spills via further coverage on Wednesday, March 14 from 7:30pm. Don’t miss a lap of the scintillating action from the ASBK season opener.
The telecast will showcase insane wheel to wheel, handlebar to handlebar racing, interviews with riders, insights from the teams and in-depth commentary from past World Endurance and Australian Superbike Champion Steve Martin and host Emma Notarfrancesco. The comprehensive two-hour package will bring all home viewers closer to the action, with all three YMI Superbike races from Round 1 being shown.
Up to 50 YMI Superbike machines entered for Round 1 and seven manufacturers duked it out for supremacy.
The coverage will give viewers a taste of what to expect from live 2018 ASBK, as the championship will be broadcast on SBS, Fox Sports and Livestream for every remaining 2018 round.
