The Lounge: The Ultimate in Entertaining Indulgence
MEDIA RELEASE: The Australian Grand Prix Corporation today announced that Jaguar, Hisense and Capitol Grand South Yarra will present The Lounge at the 2016 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix.
Since last year, The Lounge has undergone a complete redesign where international and national guests can enjoy an elegant space which now includes an outdoor viewing deck and extended entertainment areas.
Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO, Andrew Westacott, said he is thrilled to have three prestigious new presenting partners on board for The Lounge.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Capitol Grand South Yarra, Hisense and Jaguar on board as the official presenting partners of the newly redefined Lounge and we look forward to partnering with these premium brands that align with luxury and innovation,” said Mr Westacott.
“The Lounge is a place for guests to rub shoulders with celebrities and VIPs who have jetted in for the race weekend; this is not your standard lounge. This is the luxurious face of Formula One, with world class food and beverage available to every guest. It is the ultimate indulgence across the race weekend,” continued Mr Westacott.

Following up from its global announcement in Las Vegas, Hisense is showcasing its most advanced television technology yet, Hisense 4K ULED televisions, the world’s finest television for “U”, the customers.

Jaguar is partnering with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation to reveal for the first time on Australian soil the all-new Jaguar F-PACE.
