Supercheap Auto Wishes the Nation a Happy Bathurst Day

Supercheap Auto has launched its latest campaign to celebrate Australia’s most iconic motorsport event, The Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

David Bauer, General Manager Customer Communication and Engagement explains that the great race is an event steeped in tradition. “The Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1,000 isn’t just a great sporting event, it’s a great cultural event. Friends and families have been coming together to celebrate the day for generations and we wanted to shine a spotlight on the iconically Australian day.”

The campaign features a cross section of Australians and Kiwis getting ready for the big day. The cast includes real customers, V8 Supercar driver Chaz Mostert and youtube sensations the Mighty Car Mods. The excitement of the day is amplified by a soundtrack that features engine sounds mixed with an orchestral score of the national anthem.
