Supercars Perth SuperNight race live on Fox Sports

  • Live and ad-break free during racing on Foxtel
  • Racing live on Friday and Saturday night

The Supercars championship fight will go under lights when the PIRTEK Perth SuperNight is Live and Ad-break free during racing on FOX SPORTS this Thursday from 2.30pm AEST.

In a first for the series the Barbagallo circuit outside Perth will be lit up when Supercars drivers race into the night on Friday and Saturday, setting up a spectacle like no other on the calendar.

Ford Mustang pilot and defending series champion Scott McLaughlin will be keen to continue his Perth domination but will have to contend with threats from with 2018 night race winner Shane van Gisbergen, the rise of Holden young gun Anton de Pasquale and the internal threat of team mate Fabian Coulthard.

In the FOX SPORTS studio, reigning Bathurst 1000 champion Craig Lowndes, will join Mark Skaife and host Jess Yates to give Foxtel customers insights and analysis across the weekend, plus Chris Stubbs with all the breaking news.

The team are joined by Supercars Experts Neil Crompton, Greg Murphy, technical analyst Mark Larkham and pit lane reporter Riana Crehan.

FOX SPORTS expert commentator, Craig Lowndes, who has also won the most Supercars races at the Barbagallo circuit ever said:

“This short 2.41km circuit is very hard on tyre life, so the key for drivers is trying to make the tyres live while balancing good car speed if you’re going to be a chance of winning.

“I think the drivers and engineers who are willing to roll the dice and take a gamble on strategy could be rewarded, it’s a card I’ve played in the past. We have seen Penrite Racing willing to think outside the box with strategy a few times this year so don’t be surprised if you see David Reynolds or Anton de Pasquale up the front near the end of each race and Red Bull Holden Racing Team will be very eager to bounce back after a tough outing at Phillip Island.”

Foxtel subscribers can also stream FOX SPORTS’ motorsports coverage where and when they want using Foxtel Go or Foxtel Now.

FOX SPORTS is exclusively available on Foxtel.
