This season’s NSW Title and Sydney City 50 Lap Classic is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever, which is in no small part thanks to the wealth of support that has poured in from a host of organisations.
Following last season’s success, numerous sponsors have returned to the fold to continue their support, while the Speedcar Association of NSW has also welcomed a number of newcomers on board for this season’s running of the events.
Offering a generous prize pool throughout the massive fortnight of racing, the two banner events have already attracted in excess of 45 drivers from throughout five states of Australia, New Zealand and even America.
“On behalf of the Speedcar Association of NSW, I’d like to thank both new and returning sponsors for getting behind these two events, which are shaping up to be quite the spectacle,” expressed Speedcar Association of NSW President Dean Welfare.
“Without the amazing support of these businesses, events such as our NSW Title and Sydney City 50 Lap Classic simply wouldn’t be possible, and it’s because of this support that we’ve been able to lift the events to such a scale.
“We’ve almost reached our prediction of 50 cars at each event and the nominations continue to come in, so these events are definitely going to be two not to miss.”
The $5,000 to win NSW Title will take place on the Saturday night of April 27, followed by the Sydney City 50 Lap Classic, which will be held over two nights on May 3 and 4. Friday’s night’s preliminary feature race will also offer $5,000 to win, while Saturday night’s Sydney City 50 Lap Classic-deciding feature race will reward the winner with a $10,000 prize.
