Round 6 Morgan Park Preview - Improved Production QLDThe final round for Improved Production QLD is setting up to be a cracking event this weekend at Morgan Park Raceway.

Both under and over 2 litre championships will be decided, and it’s close up the front.

D’Arcy Wade, Greg Hartnett and David Waldon are the top three in under 2 litre and there are only 19 points separating them.

“We have two important race meetings in the next couple of weeks. This round, we will be testing for The IPRA Nationals the following weekend, as well as trying to finish the year off strong” said under 2 litre championship leader, D’Arcy Wade.

“It’s really going to test the strength and reliability of the Honda. So strategy is going to take place.”

Jason Grimmond has a good lead in the over 2 litre class with 69 points separating himself from second place Steven Jukes.

“I’m looking forward to the last round. Our last hit out before The IPRA Nationals”, Grimmond said.

“A few minor changes to the car for the weekend, we should be a little quicker then last round.”

With over 25 cars entered for the last round of 2016, Improved Production QLD has one of the strongest fields this weekend which always results in spectacular racing.

Round 6 of the Improved Production Championship will be held on November 19 – November 20 at Morgan Park Raceway – tickets will be available at the gate.
