The reigning Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge champion has secured the event backing of AMX All Motorcycle Accessories, which is Australia’s largest motorcycle parts and accessories superstore located in Melbourne.

As the championship’s only Pro-Am event, Ross was required to select a Challenge class co-driver for the round.

Ross selected promising GT3 Cup Challenge driver and Sydney lawyer David Ryan for the role.

Ross is now looking forward to the unique round – a local event for the Melbourne racer.

“It’s great to have AMX All Motorcycle Accessories on board as a sponsor for the Phillip Island round. It is a tremendous brand and great to have as part of our Porsche team for what is one of our local rounds,” said Ross.

“Phillip Island is synonymous with two-wheel racing and the Porsche series is set to generate some great interest with so many high-profile drivers at the round.

“And for our team, we’re expecting strong results. It’s my home round and David has shown some strong pace in testing. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Rod Hunter of AMX All Motorcycle Accessories, is excited about the new partnership with Ross at what is Australia’s spiritual home of motorcycle racing.

“I’m pleased to announce this partnership with Fraser Ross and his Porsche team for the Carrera Cup round at Phillip Island.

“Fraser a great young talent and the Carrera Cup championship is one of the strongest motor racing series in Australia, so it is great to be part of the team for the Phillip Island event,” said Hunter.

“AMX All Motorcycle Accessories is a proud local business as we’re thrilled to support a local talent in Fraser. It will be a great event and we’re thoroughly looking forward to it.”

Ross, Ryan and the AMX All Motorcycle Accessories-backed team will complete a test day before lining up for the Phillip Island event on May 22-24, 2015.
