Off Road Racers Flock To Junior Road Racing Development Program
motoDNA’s Junior Road Racing Development Program continues to grow new talent at its regular Sydney Motorsport Park training days.
More and more riders from dirt track and motocross are making the switch to the tarmac with some kids even becoming accredited for road racing in their first day on the track.
motoDNA’s Director of Coaching, former International Road Racer and MotoGP Engineer, Mark McVeigh has been impressed by the level of talent coming from the off road scene in Australia.
“We are very excited by the kids coming through the program. Lots of natural ability and really decent youngsters are emerging at our training days. We are also getting enquires from overseas teams and championships and its very satisfying to not only train and mentor these young athletes but assist with team placement,” McVeigh said.
motoDNA boasts an unprecedented coaching team of 5 former MotoGP racers and 2 MotoGP Engineers training all levels of riders at their academy days.
motoDNA’s Junior Road Racing Development Program provides a pathway for riders from all disciplines to learn the craft of road racing from some of Australia’s legend riders and acquire accreditation to take part in motoDNA has teamed up with Championship leading team BC performance A1 Kawasaki to offer a young rider a supported ride in the 2015 Kawasaki Insurances FX 300 Ninja Cup.
The most promising rider will be selected from motoDNA’s Junior Road Racing Development Program held regularly at Sydney Motorsport Park.
The next motoDNA Juniors Development Day is this coming Monday 29th Sept at Sydney Motorsports Park on the South circuit.
