More race wins for Duggan in Series X3 NSW
Emily Duggan has confirmed her status as the nation’s leading woman racer, claiming two more race victories in Round 6 of Series X3 NSW at Sydney Motorsport Park’s Amaroo circuit on the weekend.
After qualifying her SmartFuels2Race Excel in fourth position, the Cosmopolitan Sportswoman of the Year finalist skilfully negotiated her way through the traffic on the opening lap of the first race to take the lead, which she maintained through to the chequered flag.
In Race 2, Duggan led all the way and in the third race, she claimed a strong second-place finish to complete another successful weekend and solidify her second place in the points.
“Overall, it was another strong weekend for the SmartFuels2Race crew and excellent to chalk up another couple of race wins,” Duggan said.
“As always, it’s close competition in Series X3 NSW and the finishes in all three races were very tight.
“There’s only one round to go in the 2017 season which is an endurance race at Wakefield Park in December, so I’ll be doing all I can to challenge for the title.”
