Penny Motorsport to debut international sponsor at HQ Nationals

Penny Motorsport to debut International sponsor at HQ Nationals!Penny Motorsport (formerly CR Racing) will introduce an international flavour to HQ racing with the announcement that Team owner Trevor Penny has brought on board Sierra Brava Lodge in Argentina. Sierra Brava Lodge is a 5 star hunting Lodge and attracts clients from all over the world it is considered one of the best offering great facilities, food and service, along with a unique hunting experience.

Trevor saw this as a great opportunity to promote the business in Australia, he has already displayed the brand by supporting Joel Heinrich’s Aussie Racing Car in his first full year in the category, as well as Joel’s and Bruce Heinrich’s HQ’s. Joel currently sits 4th in the Aussie racing Car Championship.

Matt Linscott will race this coming weekend sporting the new livery at his first HQ Nationals to be held at Phillip Island. There has been great interest in the event with 72 HQ’s entered from all over the country including 5 fellow SA cars. This is a credit to the strength of the category 40+ years on and the work put in by the HQRA Vic. Matt would also like to thank Judy & Scott from Tyrepower Victor Harbor for their ongoing support.

Matt and the team are looking forward to the event having recently competed successfully at inaugural SA State round at The Bend Motorsport Park finishing 4th overall. Matt found the track challenging and rewarding. The Bend is a great facility, we can’t wait to see the Supercars at the new venue in a few weeks.
