PAYCE to sponsor Historic Touring Cars

PAYCE also back Dick Johnson Racing’s V8 Supercars effort
The organisers of Historic Touring Cars (Group N) have welcomed the support of new sponsor, PAYCE, into their category at this month’s Muscle Car Masters meeting at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Historic Touring Cars’ NSW Executive President, Marc Ducquet says the involvement of PAYCE for Round 7 is great news for the category and a boost for historic racing.
‘’Brian Boyd and his company, PAYCE, are well-respected partners in Australian motor sport and their expansion as a sponsor into our category is most welcomed,” he said.
“Group N continues to build in appeal to competitors and fans around the country, and sponsors are an integral part of a successful future for the category,” Mr Ducquet said.
PAYCE currently supports a number of touring cars in V8 Supercars, including #16 and #17 Fords in the Dick Johnson Racing team and the #12 Dunlop Series car of Brad Jones Racing.
PAYCE has also thrown its support behind the fast growing segment of motor sport, Australian Trans-Am, taking up the naming rights for the category’s debut at this year’s Muscle Car Masters.
Brian Boyd, PAYCE’s Managing Director says the Historic Touring Cars category is now firmly established as a significant contributor to motor racing in Australia.
“I particularly congratulate all involved with the category and the quality and variety of the fields, as well as the friendly rivalry, on and off the track, that is evident at each meeting.
“Group N is an important part of our motor racing heritage and it’s great to see that the category appeals to all ages, young and not-so-young, and that fans have great access to the pits and paddock to inspect the cars up close and talk to drivers.” said Brian.
