MEDIA RELEASE: This September, the Australian Khanacross Championship will be held in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Awaba at the home ground of the Westlakes Automobile Club.

The hotly contested national championship will be conducted over 2 days at AwabaWAC Park on the 26-27th September.

Sponsored by VolksMüller, the Championship is expected to bring some fantastic motorsport talent to the area to challenge our local competitors; with expressions of interest already received from SA, QLD, VIC and TAS.

The event promises plenty of sideways action, and thanks to the well placed Spectator areas that are safely fenced, there is plenty to see and spectating is fun and safe for the whole family.

Day One will consist of Documentation, Scrutiny and two Khanacross Tests run in both directions, followed by a dinner at Toronto Workers Club for a ‘Meet & Greet’ with competitors and also to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the organising club.

Day Two will consist of 4 Khanacross Tests run in both directions.

Presentation of awards and trophies will be held at 4pm on Sunday, at the Khanacross grounds.

Entry to watch the event is FREE and the action starts on Saturday at Midday and on Sunday at 9am.

Both days will see the event conclude at 3pm. Food and drinks will be available at the venue.
