Motorcycle GP ace to star for Honda at FarmFest
Australian 500cc Grand Prix star Daryl Beattie will make a special appearance at FarmFest 2014, in Toowoomba, next month.
Beattie, a multiple 500cc Motorcycle Grand Prix winner, will attend the Honda Motorcycles stand on Tuesday 3 June, to sign autographs, chat to FarmFest attendees and talk about the latest Honda products.
Host of Network 10’s MotoGP telecasts, Beattie also recently launched his own motorcycling adventure touring company, Daryl Beattie’s Adventures, and will bring with him his unique Unimog off-road behemoth to the Honda stand.
At FarmFest, 3-5 June, Honda will have on display its wide range of 2014 ATVs and its Side By Side (SXS) Pioneer four-wheel range, including the just-announced compact Pioneer 500.
The timing of Beattie’s appearance at FarmFest could hardly be better.
Honda Dealers across the country are currently holding their massive ATV clearing sale, which offers a wide range of discounts on the company’s extensive range of ATVs for work and play.
FarmFest 2014, featuring more than 2500 exhibitors, is expected to attract 70,000 visitors. It’ll be staged at Kingsthorpe Park, on the Warrego Highway, 20 kilometres west of Toowoomba.
Daryl Beattie rode in the 500cc Motorcycle World Championship between 1992 and 1997, winning three Grands Prix. In 1995 he finished second in the title behind his fellow Queenslander, Honda’s legendary five-time World Champion Mick Doohan.
