HRX to partner with Australian Prototype Series

The Australian Prototype Series has announced a new partnership with the local agents of international motor sport apparel brand, HRX.

HRX Australia (via distributors Jam Motorsport) will support the 2018 series as they introduce the Italian-made brand to the competitive domestic motor sport apparel market.

HRX specialises in the manufacturing and marketing of custom, tailor-made race apparel.

Ago Alberghino, the founder of HRX in 2012, has 30 years’ experience in the world of Racewear and races and after managing different companies before starting his own project.

The brand has seen incredible growth in recent years thanks to their passion for the motorsport world.

Despite their products being bespoke and made-to-order, HRX apparel’s appeal includes short lead times and a remarkable array of customisation amongst their product range, including bespoke entry level suits for your budget minded racers that still need to represent their sponsors correctly.

HRX also has a standard ‘off the shelf’ range for competitors new to motorsport.

As part of their support for the 2018 Australian Prototype Series, HRX Australia will offer all APS series registered competitors a 20% discount on all HRX items.

The extensive catalogue includes racing suits, gloves, fireproof underwear, shoes, as well as seats, harnesses, race team apparel and more.

“It is great that an international brand like HRX has seen the value in partnering with the Australian Prototype Series,” Category Manager Liam Curkpatrick said.

“Australian Prototype Series has been evolving to align itself with the likes of other race series that are run in Europe and USA. We assured with the commitment that HRX international has shown to the Australian Prototype Series now reflects that we are on the correct path in developing a prototype race series at an international level.”

“We’re looking forward to working with them this year and introducing the Australian motorsport industry to HRX via the Australian Prototype Series.”

HRX Australia representative Aaron Steer said: “HRX saw an ideal synergy in working with the Australian Prototype Series and is excited to see where our partnership goes in the future.”

Owner and Operator of HRX Italy, Ago Alberghino said: “We are happy and proud to be a part of the Australian motorsport market, even though we have been here for such a short time.

“In partnering with Australian Prototype series, this will help us learn the market in Australia and will help us in giving the best to Australian racing drivers.”
