Ahead of the 2019-20 season start, the Grafton Speedway committee is pleased to announce their exciting calendar, which features a handful of title events, while also welcoming naming-rights sponsor Hession’s Auto Parts back on board for another season.
Getting their schedule underway in early October with an action-packed season opener, spectators will be able to enjoy a performance from Yeah the Boys band ‘Living Proof’, whose fundraising efforts for men’s mental health awareness during last season’s opener were well received and extremely successful.
The event will see Demo Derby competitors contest the first of four NSW Titles this season, with the ever-popular V8 Dirt Modifieds also headlining the action, while a strong support program will further bolster the race meeting.
With 10 events scheduled, six of which will include V8 Dirt Modifieds, numerous other classes will also make regular appearances at the track, such as Wingless Sprints, RSA Street Stockers, RSA 4 Cylinder Sedans, Modlites, Production Sedans, Junior Sedans and more, with the latter three contesting their NSW Titles.
“We’ve made a number of improvements throughout the off season so we’re looking very forward to welcoming both fans and drivers back to our track this season, particularly with some of the exciting additions to our calendar,” commented Grafton Speedway Promoter Mick Corbett.
Augmenting what is gearing up to be a great 2019-20 season for Grafton Speedway, long-time naming-rights sponsor Hession’s Auto Parts, which is owned by V8 Dirt Modified driver and regular Grafton Speedway winner Andrew Firth, has once again decided to put their support behind the track, while also signing on as the major sponsor of the NSW V8 Dirt Modified Title in January.
“To have Hession’s Auto Parts behind us again, not only as our naming-rights sponsor but also in support of the NSW V8 Dirt Modified Title, is a huge coup for the track,” added Corbett.
