In the face of exceptionally wet weather forecasts for the coming days, Garrett Advancing Motion Sydney Jamboree organisers have announced they will postpone this weekend’s event to Saturday March 30, 2019.
On this new date, the event will go ahead as originally planned with the full complement of on-track action alongside the bustling off-track entertainment program. Details regarding the rescheduling of the pre-event test day will be released shortly.
“Decisions to postpone events are never undertaken lightly, however the information we have from weather experts overwhelmingly points to us not being able to successfully hold either the test day or the event day on their original dates,” Jamboree Australia Director, Collin Willshire, said.
“As such, we have decided to make the call now to postpone the event to March 30, to allow racers and fans the most time possible to make new arrangements and hopefully join us in enjoying a successful 2019 Garrett Sydney Jamboree on these new dates.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the date shift, but it is our sincere belief that this is the best course of action to ensure our partners, our racers, our fans and our valued supporters have an event to enjoy rather than be faced with an on-the-day cancellation.
“We hope you will join with us in making the 2019 Garrett Sydney Jamboree the best yet on Saturday March 30.”
