Formula Vee Australian Series SMP Round 3 PreviewThe 3rd Round of the Australian Formula Vee Series happens this weekend at SMP in conjunction with the 3rd Round of the NSW State Championships.

With 5 different winners from the 6 races so far, the top 3 drivers are separated by 10 points, throw in that each driver can drop there worse round results and at the half way point in the championship it still any bodies in the top ten.

NSW drivers have dominated the race wins so far with Dylan Thomas (NSW) on 2 and one each to Curtis Port (QLD) , Simon Pace (NSW), Darren Williams (NSW) and Michell Kinsella (NSW) .

However Its Curtis Porter from QLD who leads only 1 point clear of David Caisley from WA with Kinsella in 3rd.

In the 1200 Class Danny Cero (WA) has a commanding lead and will use this as his dropped round and concentrate on the final round in WA at Barbagello in September .

All three point scoring FV races and qualifying will be held on Saturday the 30th with only about 2 hours between each session .

The series winner will most likely be the one who survives this tight schedule the best and the 34 strong filed with lots of fierce NSW FV competitors thrown into the mix .
