USAC Racing most winning-est driver of all time Dave Darland is coming to Australia to race!
All thanks to Choss Enterprises in conjunction with Lets Torque Motorsport with the support of Bolted Spine Designs and Cycle House all making this possible.
Dave will be at Murray Bridge Speedway to contest the South Australian & 77th Australian Speedcar Championship this Feburary.
The previously mentioned have all come together to make this happen and all party’s are thrilled that this has come to fruition over the past month.
The www.cyclehouse.com.au team lead by Troy Jordan have been busy assembling the pristine Midget to be piloted by the one and only “Peoples Champ” Dave Darland in early 2018 at Murray Bridge Speedway for the South Australian Sprintcar Title along with the 77th Australian Speedcar Championship.
There has been a huge effort to pull this deal together, lead by Mildura’s Mitch Gladman who raced the world famous Chili Bowl Nationals with Zero Motorsports and Bolted Spine Designs in 2015. Mitch not only met and competed against Dave but some of the worlds biggest dirt & asphalt track names including Rico Abreu Racing, Christopher Bell, Sammy Swindell just to name a few & was the sole Australian in the star studded field.
Mitch has now come together with fellow racer & Lets Torque Motorsports own Angelo Halacas, along with the assistance of Bolted Spines Rick Reavisto make this wild dream come true of bringing Dave back “Down Under.”
“With the assistance of Wade Aunger we have been fortunate enough to have formed a great friendship with car owner & racer Troy Jordan”.
“We wanted to put together one of the best packages available for Dave to compete at these two historic events, and i’m so thank full to Troy and his Cycle House team to make this possible” added Gladman.
The team are now looking for interested sponsors, supporters & fans to help cover some of the costs in making this huge deal happen.
Lets Torque Motorsports Angelo Halacas & head of publicity said “The feed back from fans has been amazing, and we have many ways for them to get involved, we have supporters packs from $150 where you get you name on the car, along with receiving a supports pack including a T-shirt and a few other surprises.”
