Brad Tilley Returns To TCM In Historic Mustang

Brad Tilley Returns To TCM In Historic MustangBrad Tilley Returns To TCM In Historic MustangMEDIA RELEASE: Car preparer and driver Brad Tilley from Sydney has confirmed he will be racing at the final round of the Touring Car Masters…in an historic Mustang!

Brad’s white coupe with blue stripes competes in historic events in the NC category. He was a TCM regular in his Falcon GTHO which is undergoing a rebuild in his workshop, hence the decision to modify the Mustang to suit TCM racing.

It isn’t as developed or as powerful as the TCM regulars but Brad said the appeal of racing at the historic final event at Homebush was something he had to do. So, he took advantage of a one-off opportunity to enter a non-TCM car.

The car was last seen in anger at the Trans Tasman event at Sydney Motorsport Park last month with Brad’s son behind the wheel.

His decision means for the first time this season that there will be two Tilleys on the grid. Brother Cameron is fronting up in the Anglomoil Pacer, the only six-pack in the field. Cameron rebuilt the hemi’ engine for Bathurst and is expecting a good result at the Olympic Park track which he enjoys.
