The Australian Production Cars is pleased to announce its pricing structure for the 2018 season, including a new early bird entry option.

“We have worked hard to reduce the costs at all rounds and are very pleased to now be able to offer a further discount opportunity for each of our events thanks to a new early bird entry option,” APC category manager Iain Sherrin said.

“It is set to be a very exciting season from our first round at Sandown in May all the way through to the inaugural Phillip Island Six Hour – our grand final – in November.

“We are also pleased to confirm that the live stream coverage of our series is set to double in 2018, with streaming to extend from Sundays only to both Saturday and Sundays at all of our 2018 events. At the same time, our category will continue to enjoy dedicated media management, social media and photography services.”

The APC recently released a five-round calendar for 2018, including the introduction of the Phillip Island Six Hour which will be run by the APC category management. The season will start at Sandown Raceway across May 11-13. You can read more about the calendar here.

“I can’t think of a better way to open the season than at Sandown – with various driver options (one to three drivers), compulsory pit stops and no refuelling or tyre changes required, it will be a cost-effective yet entertaining start,” Sherrin said.

“From there we embark on a great journey taking in Queensland Raceway, Winton Motor Raceway and Sydney Motorsport Park before heading to Phillip Island for the Phillip Island Six Hour. This new event of ours is fantastic value for money providing six hours of racing as well as plenty of other track time in the days leading up, at one of Australia’s iconic race tracks. It is our hope that we can grow this APC-run event into a must-do ‘bucket list’ event for Australia’s production car community.

“As we rapidly approach the New Year, the 2018 season is already shaping up to be a fantastic year of racing and I can’t wait to get going. We are proud to be able to supply Australia’s production car community with the best value for money national racing series in the country.”
