For the second occasion in the 2022-23 season, Hessions Auto Parts Grafton Speedway will host a NSW Title, with this Saturday night’s running of the NSW RSA Street Stockers Title.
An impressive field of close to 40 competitors from around the state are going to be converging at the Grafton Speedway track to battle it out for the NSW Title honours in the RSA Street Stockers class.
Sydney-based Chris Marino is the driver that everyone on Saturday night wants to hunt down around the 440-metre Grafton Speedway track, as he holds of the honour of being the defending NSW Title holder.
Apart from Marino, other previous title holders in the field, include the likes of Shane Carlson (Australian and NSW Titles), Shaun Davoodi (Australian Title) and Chris Corbett (current Queensland SSA Street Stock Champion), and they are all eager to add another title to their trophy cabinets.
Despite currently not having any title wins to their name, drivers like the form driver so far this season in the northern NSW region Jakob Lesha, along with Greg Dickinson, Adrian Williams, Brock Armstrong and Adam Grill, who all have their eyes set on becoming this year’s NSW Title winner.
When it comes to the NSW Title format, the drivers will contest a total of three rounds of the heat races, a B main and then the NSW Title deciding feature race.
The V8 thundering Late Models make their return to Grafton Speedway, and they are all eager to put on a spectacular show. Heading the driver line-up are Queenslanders Carter Armstrong and Aaron Van Zeeland, as well as NSW’s front runner, veteran racer David Robertson.
In the support classes, they are going to consist of the highly competitive AMCA Nationals, RSA Four Cylinder Sedans and Junior Sedans.
