Albins shifts up a gear with more job growth

MEDIA RELEASE: Albins was once best-known for its off road racing transmissions but with the V8 Supercar category embracing the Albins ST6 Transaxle three years ago, the company now has a high profile in the global circuit racing scene.

Truth be known that the V8 Supercar supply deal is only a single digit percentage of what the Ballarat company produces annually.

The main growth areas are in military and the global racing transmission market. This growth in defence and export markets has seen Albins nearly double its workforce since 2008.

To help support this ongoing growth, Albins is currently seeking to employ 2 more CNC Machinists and an Engineering manager.

Good growth over the past few years has seen Albins invest millions in new machinery and the employee pool at Albins has now swelled to an all time high of over 54 people.

Albins Director Steve MacDonald says ” The company is in an acute growth phase, and our employees are essential assets to ensure we deliver on all fronts to all clients whilst we manage new product development, existing product upgrades and high volume supply of product to long-time customers.”
