Challenging and rewarding debut for Anglomoil Pacer in TCM

MEDIA RELEASE: thumbThe Anglomoil Pacer of TCM veteran Cameron Tilley had a mixed weekend at the Sandown Raceway round of the Touring Car Masters, knowing that the blue six-pack Valiant gave away a lot on the ‘big horsepower’ circuit.

Even so, the reigning ProAm class champ’ notched up some respectable results to celebrate the debut of his naming rights sponsor Anglomoil – the family owned 40 year old Australian lubricants manufacturer.

In Race 2 Cameron’s best lap time was only three seconds off the pace of winner John Bowe and in the reverse grid R3 he kept up with the leading group of V8’s to finished seventh.

His best lap of 1:17.6s was only just off the pace of the race winner (16:9) and he collected 85 points towards his goal of retaining the ProAm title.
