1000 Flying Laps for the Flying Doctors

MEDIA RELEASE: ST Racing is proud to announce that for 2017, we will be supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

You will see Steven Tsesmelis, a 10-year-old Go-Kart driver from Melbourne, throughout the 2017 racing year working towards the initiative:

1000 Flying Laps for the Flying Doctors
An initiative established whereby, in his effort to complete 1000 laps on his Go Kart across various race meets, Steven also plans to raise awareness and at least $5,000 for vital equipment for the RFDS.

About the RFDS
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is one of Australia’s most trusted and well respected brands and has been voted Australia’s most reputable charity in the AMR index for six years in a row. Over the past 88 years the RFDS has had a long history in providing 24-hour emergency aeromedical and primary health care services around Australia.

With a waiting room of 7.13 million square kilometres, the RFDS provides 24-hour aeromedical emergency services that can reach anywhere, no matter how remote, within hours. The RFDS is constantly working to see that those living in rural and remote areas can enjoy the same health outcomes as those living in city areas.
One of the biggest challenges facing rural communities is a shortage of health care professionals.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the RFDS relies heavily on donations and community fundraising and on the support from corporate and philanthropic partnerships to keep the Flying Doctor flying.
How can you Help?
As Steven is raising funds for the RFDS, we ask that you support him on his quest to complete 1000 Flying Laps for the Flying doctors.

Help comes in many different forms; advice, donations, sponsorship, social shares, likes, shout outs.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated as the ultimate message of what these people do for our communities is amazing. It could be any one of us out there in the country requiring help.
