It may have been the smallest field in the race's history, but the 2014 edition of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 dished up an unprecedented cocktail of madness and mayhem.
After 161 laps and 1000km of chaos, Chaz Mostert and Paul Morris had come from 25th and last position on the grid to score a victory which shocked the field.
Mostert overtook a slowing Jamie Whincup on the final lap to steal the stunning victory.
A spate of Safety Cars, a red flag which saw the race suspended for more than an hour with just over a quarter of the race in the books and a series of crashes has seared the 2014 edition of The Great Race as an epic encounter.
It was certainly chaotic, but was it the best Bathurst ever?
