The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy has signed a new partnership with Italian-based company Magneti Marelli After Parts and Services – the commercial division which is dedicated to spare parts and its hugely-successful workshops network.
The one-year deal has already seen the company activate at the World RX season-opener in Barcelona which included track branding and the exclusive video content. The partnership will see further activation at World RX of France, round nine of the World Championship which is staged in Loheac, Brittany (1-3 September).
Magneti Marelli After Market Parts and Services distributes spare parts, automotive components and offers training and technical know-how to the independent Aftermarket. Thanks for a network of 4000 authorised workshops, Magneti Marelli assists drivers with products and technical services and has a significant presence in four European countries (Italy, Spain, Germany and Poland), two in Latin America (Brazil and Argentina) plus Turkey, Russia and China. It has a network in over 80 countries across Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Oceania.
World RX Managing Director for IMG, Paul Bellamy, spoke positively about the World Championship’s newest partner. “There is a lot of synergy between Magneti Marelli After Market Parts and Services and World RX as both operate on a global scale. The company has a particularly strong foothold within Europe, where we have ten of our events, so the partnership seems a natural fit and an excellent platform for Magneti Marelli to promote its growing Market Parts and Services.”
