Roland Dane

Speedcafe.com increased its editorial offering to the fans with the signing of one of motorsport’s most experienced and polarising figures, Roland Dane, as a weekly columnist.

As the fans would expect, Dane has no problem speaking his mind and providing opinion on hot topics, not just in Supercars, but world motorsport.

His column, Roland’s View, is offered to Speedcafe.com readers every Wednesday.

Dane was the winningest team owner in Supercars history, before selling out of his Triple Eight Race Engineering operation in 2021.

He is a former Supercars board member and has been instrumental in the shaping of the sport on and off track for more than two decades.

Dane arrived in Australia in 2003 after building his successful Triple Eight race operation as well as a group of diverse and successful businesses in the UK and beyond.

He has forgotten more about motorsport than most people will ever know.
