A red flag has seen an early end to the second V8 Supercars practice session of the day at Winton Motor Raceway.
Tim Slade’s benchmark time of 1:23.40s was rendered unbeatable when Jonathan Webb (Mother Energy Racing) became stranded in the Turn 3 sand trap in the final minutes.
Steven Richards was the fastest of the co-drivers, setting the second fastest time aboard Mark Winterbottom’s #5 Orrcon Steel Ford Performance Racing Falcon.
Paul Dumbrell (The Bottle-O Racing), Michael Caruso (Fujitsu Racing), Greg Murphy Pepsi Max Racing), James Moffat (Jim Beam Racing), Todd Kelly(Jack Daniel’s Racing), Dean Fiore (Triple F Racing), Nick Percat (Toll Holden Racing Team) and David Reynolds (Stratco Racing) rounded out the top 10.
