Champion former touring car driver Glenn Seton has been announced as a late addition in one of the MARC Cars Australia entries alongside his son Aaron.
The veteran racer who won the 1993 Australian Touring Car Championship and 1997 V8 Supercars title moves into the Ford Focus V8 as the fourth driver.
He will join teenage son Aaron, Michael Benton and Hadrian Morrall in the Coyote V8-powered Focus.
At 51, Seton ended his Supercars career falling short of a Bathurst 1000 victory however he did win Class A in the 2010 Bathurst 12 Hour when second outright in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X alongside Neil Crompton and Mark King.
That was followed by his first ever outright win at Bathurst in a heat of the Touring Cars Masters in 2011.
As previously reported Aaron Seton, 18, will take his dad’s drive in a Ford Mustang in the Touring Car Masters this year.
The pair have previously shared drives in production cars at Shannons Nationals meetings.
MARC Cars is running a fleet of six cars in Class D, a section which will field a total of nine entries.
