Bathurst 12 Hour line-ups near completion

One of the strongest GT3 fields ever assembled is nearing completion as more driver line-ups emerge for the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour from February 3-5.

While there remains several entries still to reveal their driver combinations, the latest inclusions in the field see Erebus Supercars driver David Reynolds combining with Dominic Storey and Mark Griffith in a Mercedes AMG GT3.

Meanwhile Kiwis Glenn Smith, John de Vries, Nick Chester and Kevin Bell will pilot a Lamborghini Gallardo R-EX.

Bell has previous experience that includes starts in the Bathurst 24 hour earlier last decade, Bathurst 1000 and Porsche Carrera Cup while Smith, De Vries and Chester regularly feature in New Zealand’s top endurance and GT-style series.

Smith is the reigning champion in New Zealand’s GT1 championship, racing an ex-Grand Am Series Daytona Prototype.

Factory drivers from Audi, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Nissan, Bentley, Mercedes AMG, BMW and Porsche have previously been disclosed however McLaren has not yet shown its hand ahead of its Bathurst title defence.
