Speedcafe.com takes a look back at the best images from the 2015 V8 Supercars Championship.
Delivered in two parts, the top 10 countdown is presented by our photographer Daniel Kalisz.
The Adelaide-based Kalisz took out the Photographer of the Year and Best On-track Photo honours at the recent end-of-season V8 Media Awards.
10) Chaz Mostert – Sandown, Sunday 13th September
This portrait of Chaz sums up his personality and year in one frame. We all cannot wait to see him back in action next season.

9) Perkins and Courtney – Gold Coast Sunday 25th October
8) LDM team photo – Hidden Valley, Friday 19th June
The team and I wanted to create a twist on the usual Darwin sunrise photo. Kudos to the team for making this happen and for the early alarm call.
It was a challenge to light with two cars, two drivers and a row of team personal. All this was achieved with two speedlight flashes. Sometimes less is more.

ISO: 50
Aperture: f 11

7) Shane Van Gisbergen – Barbagallo Raceway, Saturday April 18th
This image reminds me of the rings of Saturn, and with the image taken late in the afternoon with the setting sun it creates a real outer space vibe which I like.

Lens: 500mm f4
ISO: 50
Aperture: f 8
Shutter: 1/1250
6) Scott McLaughlin – Townsville, Sunday 12th July
I like this image for many reasons. It’s clean, simple and with the image converted to black and white really creates a certain mood.
This was taken as Scott climbs aboard his Volvo S60 during the Ttop 10 shootout. With a completely vacant and in shade pitlane I was able to capture something just a little different.
