Pioneering Australian motorsport commentator Mike Raymond will be farewelled in Sydney this week.
The iconic voice of Australian touring cars for more than two decades sadly passed away last Thursday after a complication with pneumonia, aged 76.
Raymond’s loss sparked an outpouring of tributes to the Channel Seven commentator who played a pivotal figure in the formulation of the V8 touring car formula.
Further tributes will be made at a funeral service which will take place at Waterview In Bicentennial Park, Bicentennial Drive, Sydney Olympic Park on Wednesday November 13 at 1315 AEDT.
