Super3 boasts 18-car field for Sandown finale

Super3 boasts an 18-car field for Sandown.

Title protagonists Broc Feeney and Jayden Ojeda headline an 18-strong Kumho Tyre Super3 Series field heading to Sandown this weekend.

Feeney and Ojeda are split by just 11 points ahead of the final round of the season, while Hamish Ribarits and Zak Best also remain in contention.

The leading four drivers are split by 73 points, with a total of 143 on offer at Sandown.

Joining the quartet are six others in Championship class, including the returning Joel Heinrich following his debut in the series at The Bend, while Matt McLean is also making a return with Image Racing.

Having missed the last two outings, Kumho Cup runner Emily Duggan returns at the wheel of a Commodore VE, while Dean Lillie will make his debut in an ex-Greg Murphy/Jason Richards Commodore.

They form part of an eight-strong class field which is evenly split between Commodores and Falcons.

Running as part of the Shannons Nationals at Sandown, the Super3 series will have three races, two on Saturday before the finale on Sunday afternoon.
