Kelly Racing will tonight host its final fan vote to decide the retro livery it will run on Rick Kelly’s Nissan Altima at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

The Braeside operation asked fans to determine which retro Castrol colour scheme will adorn the #15 Altima for Kelly and Dale Wood at Mount Panorama through a series of social media votes.

Eight classic liveries have now been whittled down to two which will feature in a final vote on Kelly Racing’s Facebook page tonight.

From the two rounds of initial voting, the fans have selected Russell Ingall’s 2000 ‘silver bullet’ Commodore livery and the legendary Larry Perkins ‘sawtooth’ design for the final.

Perkins won the 1993, 1995, and 1997 Bathurst 1000s in the sawtooth-adorned Commodores, with Ingall alongside him for the latter two races.

Voting will open at 1900 AEST with the resulted declared before the end of the week.
