Speedcafe.com has launched a new service that will enable fans to subscribe to news they care about in addition to receiving breaking news alerts, all at their fingertips.
Available through the Speedcafe.com Facebook page, fans will be able to sign up to the free service at the click of a button, with the latest AI software to assist with the initial set-up.
The launch of the free service will allow fans to subscribe to the news categories they care about ranging from Supercars, Formula 1, TCR, National, IndyCar, Rally, and Offroad, with more categories to be added into the future.
Fans can also subscribe to breaking news alerts, enabling Speedcafe.com to immediately alert you of the big news stories as they break.
“This is the next step in delivering your daily racing fix directly to your inbox”, said Speedcafe.com General Manager Justin Murray, who developed the AI system.
“Delivering Speedcafe.com’s award winning motorsport coverage through these platforms empowers our readers to be the most informed.
“Allowing fans to subscribe to news updates that they care about also gives them the power of choosing what news they want to hear about.”
Speedcafe.com’s news coverage via social media was recognised within the industry last year by taking out the ‘Most Outstanding Use of Social Media’ award at the Supercars Media awards.
“Social media is an important tool in communicating to our readers who are increasingly using these platforms to get their news,” said Murray.
Also launched this week is the new Speedcafe.com newsletter which sees a fresh look and responsive layout in the subscriber’s inbox.
