Lowndes unveils 2019 Red Bull Holden livery

The new-look Red Bull HRT Commodore

The Red Bull Holden Racing Team has taken the covers off the livery it will run on its cars for the 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

Triple Eight co-driver and ambassador Craig Lowndes was on hand to unveil the livery that Jamie Whincup and Shane van Gisbergen will campaign at a team launch at Dalby Aerodrome in rural Queensland.

The cars will run under a revised colour scheme compared to the blue and white livery raced in 2018.

Seven-time Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 winner, Lowndes, is set jump behind the wheel to complete demonstration runs in front of fans at the aerodrome.

Lowndes will stand down from full-time supercars racing this year but will return for the Pirtek Enduro Cup, when he will partner Whincup, the team confirmed earlier today.

The new look Red Bull Holden Racing Team ZB Commodores will race in anger for the first time at the season opening Superloop Adelaide 500 from February 28-March 3.
