New look for Will Brown Commodore

Will Brown with his new-look Eggleston Motorsport Commodore

Will Brown’s Eggleston Motorsport entry has a new look as part of a deal inked with Titan Australia for the remainder of this year’s Dunlop Super2 Series.

Brown’s #38 VF Commodore ran with plain black flanks for the first four rounds of the season but will now feature white-and-blue branding on the bonnet and sides from Titan Australia, the largest integrated provider and service specialist of tyres, wheels, tracks and axles in Australia.

The 20-year-old has arrived at Sandown poised to make his first Virgin Australia Supercars Championship start in the Pirtek Enduro Cup opener, as co-driver to former Super2 rival Anton De Pasquale at Erebus Motorsport.

Brown, currently eighth on the Super2 table, has also spent the break since the last round in Townsville working on a switch to right-foot braking in a bid to harmonise his driving style with Eggleston team-mate Paul Dumbrell.

“We’ve worked really hard on and off the track this year and having the support of Titan Australia is a great boost into the remaining rounds of the series,” said the 2017 Mike Kable Young Gun Award winner.

“Titan Australia is a new name to motorsport sponsorship in this country but they’re really well known and highly regarded in their line of work.

“We’ve spent plenty of time testing and continuing to hone my approach to driving in the gap since the last round in Townsville in July, so we’re leaving no stone unturned in continuing to find ways to improve.

“My teammate Paul Dumbrell is leading the series so there’s no doubt our EMS Commodores are real contenders in Super2 this year and I want to push my way a bit further up the field in these last few rounds and get among the results too.”

Nathan McGregor, Marketing Coordinator for Titan Australia, added, “Titan Australia are excited to be partnering Will Brown and the Eggleston Motorsport team for the remainder of the of the 2018 season.

“We feel supporting Will and this family run team was an easy choice as we share many core values including commitment and quality.”

Brown is currently eighth in the Super2 Series, which resumes tomorrow at the Rabble.Club Sandown 500 with Practice 1 from 0920 local time/AEST.
