Nissan Motorsport has welcomed a new naming rights partner for its Andre Heimgartner entry at the Rabble.Club Sandown 500.
Kangan Institute’s Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE), which claims to be the largest and most advanced automotive training facility in the southern hemisphere, has come onboard the #7 Altima which will be shared by Heimgartner and Aaren Russell.
The car has run under the orange and blue livery of sponsor Plus Fitness since the start of the season.
For this weekend the hues will be replaced by a new blue and white colour scheme.
“Kangan Institute provides strong foundations of learning across a vast range of automotive trades,” said Nick Ryan, General Manager of Nissan Motorsport.
“We work primarily with students from the motorsport course where every student has the opportunity to work within a leading Supercar team. This ultimately fast tracks their careers and ready prepares them to play a vital role within our sport.

The car will hit the track for the first time on Friday with opening practice scheduled for 1040 AEST.
