Brad Jones Racing has revealed a new colour scheme for Nick Percat which it hopes will stand out under lights at the Red Rooster Sydney SuperNight 300.

The #8 Commodore will display a white, gold and black livery featuring branding from Dare Iced Coffee and Mrs Mac’s pies for this weekend’s inaugural SuperNight event at Sydney Motorsport Park.

In a bid to be more visible for the running at night the car has reflective vinyl gold strips on the front quarter panels.

It follows a similar move taken by the team with its sister cars for Tim Slade and Tim Blanchard.

Erebus Motorsport has also elected to use reflective material on its cars to stand out during today’s Practice 1 and Saturday night’s 300km race held under lights.

“The team and I are really excited for this weekend,” said Percat, who sits 11th in the championship.

“The 300km race under lights will provide a fun challenge for drivers and be very entertaining for the fans.

“With 300 points on the line, it certainly could mix things up in the championship.

“It’s great to have Mrs Mac’s/Dare Iced Coffee on board for this event and I think the design will make quite a few people hungry watching it under the lights of Sydney Motorsport Park.”

Drivers will hit the track for a 40 minute practice at 1800 AEST before a final practice session on Saturday, followed by knockout qualifying and the 300km race.
