Tekno Autosports has officially opened its new state-of-the-art headquarters on the Gold Coast.
The Supercars outfit threw open the doors of its new multi-million dollar 4,500sqm facility to the public on Sunday.
Hoards of fans took up the opportunity to explore the workshop which houses Will Davison’s new Lightning McQueen liveried Holden Commodore and the Tekno Autosports run McLaren 650S GT3 that won the 2016 Bathurst 12 Hour.
Davison attended the day to sign autographs while 2016 Dakar Rally champion Toby Price showed off the KTM rally raid bike he rode to third on his Dakar debut.
Tekno Autosports moved into the facility in April this year having upgraded from a smaller workshop at Yatala, Queensland.
“It has been a tough year motorsport wise but to be able to open this up and show everyone what we are able to do and what we can do in the future is very exciting,” Tekno Autosports owner Jonathon Webb told Speedcafe.com.
