Stewards have issued points penalties to Cameron Waters and Dale Wood following driving infringements in Race 5 at the WD-40 Phillip Island 500.
Prodrive racer Waters has been docked 35 championship points after being deemed to have forced David Reynolds off the road at Turn 1, which sparked a multiple car incident.
Waters was at the centre of two more investigations during the race having been issued a pit lane penalty for contact with Mobil 1 HSV Racing’s James Courtney.
The Monster Energy Ford driver also copped a hit from Wood which has seen the latter deducted 25 championship points for careless driving.
Shane van Gisbergen has avoided any sanctions after he was investigated for a possible Safety Car finish infringement.
An incident between Chaz Mostert and Todd Kelly was also dismissed.
