Livery tweak for Mobil 1 HSV Racing

The Mobil 1 HSV Racing Commodores will feature increased backing from Boost Mobile

Mobil 1 HSV Racing has taken the covers off a tweaked livery for its drivers at the non-championship Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix event at Albert Park.

The Walkinshaw owned team has maintained its red and black look although the Commodores for James Courtney and Scott Pye with display increased backing from Boost Mobile.

The company will feature down the sides of the cars having originally joined the team as a minor sponsor at the start of the season.

The Mobil 1 HSV Racing squad will rotate its primary sponsors on the cars this year.

“It’s fantastic news that Boost Mobile is extending the relationship that we started in Adelaide,” said team boss Adrian Burgess.

“It’s really pleasing for the team to bring in a new partner. Knowing they have instantly seen the value in not only the team, but Supercars as a category as a means to promote their brand and product is a really positive thing.

“We are very excited to be going in to a longer-term arrangement, but also an expanded presence on the car for the AGP.”

The cars will head out on track for the first time during a 30 minute practice session on Thursday at 1250 local time.
