New backer for Hazelwood’s Super2 campaign

Todd Hazelwood will be sporting fresh primary backing for his Dunlop Super2 Series campaign

Todd Hazelwood has unveiled fresh primary backing from vehicle tracking company, Bigmate, for his Dunlop Super2 Series VF Commodore.

Hazelwood will enter his fourth season in the second tier Supercars class in the Holden prepared by Queensland-based Matt Stone Racing.

“The car looks fantastic and I am really looking forward to what success we can achieve working together this season both on and off track,” Hazelwood said.

“It is incredible to have support from so many people and brands. I cannot wait to represent each and every one of the them on track in the Bigmate Racing Supercar this year.”

The company has an extensive client base of private, local government and state government bodies, providing cutting-edge GPS tracking and productivity solutions to a broad range of industries and markets.

Bigmate heads up a strong group of backers continuing with Hazelwood in 2017 which include iseek communications, Truck Dealers Australia, GRK Plumbing and Venn IT Solutions.

The Bigmate brand will also fuel Jason Gomersall’s A9X Torana in the Australian Touring Car Masters Series.

Bigmate managing director Mark Shield says there is a direct synergy between Bigmate and the motor racing link.

“Our vehicle tracking technology is all about accuracy, speed and reliability, which aligns perfectly with how Jason, Todd and Matt Stone Racing approach their motor sport,” Shield said.

Hazelwood and Gomersall will be testing at Queensland Raceway tomorrow ahead of their respective campaigns starting at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide from March 2-5.
