Tekno Autosports has confirmed Woodstock Bourbon as a key sponsor for its 2017 Vrgin Australia Supercars Championship campaign.
The Queensland-based squad has today revealed a new orange and black livery that Will Davison will carry on its #19 Holden Commodore at the Clipsal 500, Townsville 400, Sandown 500, Bathurst 1000 and the Gold Coast 600.
Confirmation of the new naming rights sponsor comes after Tekno had been primarily backed by Tony Quinn’s Darrell Lea licorice brand, Stix.
Woodstock has supported the Supercars Championship for the last two seasons.
The arrangement will see Davison feature in several promotions for the company throughout the year.
“It’s fantastic news that Woodstock has come on board to support our program in 2017,” said Davison.
“I am looking forward to sharing some on-track success with them this year, and celebrating that success by sharing a quiet Woodstock or two away from the track as well.
Tekno boss Jonathon Webb has welcomed Woodstock Bourbon to the reigning Bathurst 1000 winning operation.
“Myself and TEKNO are really excited to partner with an iconic brand like Woodstock,” said Webb.
“Working with an organisation of their stature shows our modest team has come a long way in a short amount of time.
“There are some exciting projects in the pipeline and we are all really looking forward to representing Woodstock on the Supercar and our uniforms in 2017.”
