Joey Mawson continues to lead the MRF Challenge after the penultimate round at Delhi, India.
Claiming three podium finishes from the four-race format at the Buddh International Circuit has seen Mawson edge to a 27-point lead.
The 2016 German Formula 4 champion Mawson has extended his record to an impressive 10 podiums from the 12 races which have been staged to date.
He followed a fourth in the opening 12-lap race with a win in Race 2, a second and a hard fought third in the final heat.
“It has been another good weekend, three podiums and extending the lead in the championship is very pleasing,” said Mawson.
“I had good speed all weekend and it was great to be able to show that with a fantastic win in race two.
“The final race was a real battle. I got a good start but then dropped back after contact with Mick (Schumacher), then to be able to claw my way back and be on the podium is great.”
The final round is scheduled for Chennai from February 17-19.
