LaFerrari set for Bathurst 12 Hour demo laps


Ferrari’s LaFerrari will represent at the Bathurst 12 Hour
Ferrari’s stunning LaFerrari hypercar will conduct demonstration laps at the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour as part of an increased event presence from the luxury Italian manufacturer.
The impressive 950 horsepower V12 powered monster, considered the brand’s ultimate car, will complete laps of the 6.2km Mount Panorama circuit during the February 3-5 endurance classic.
Launched in 2013, the LaFerrari can reach speeds in excess of 350km/h with the assistance of a Formula 1 style KERS system.
The car will joined by examples of the F12tdf sportscar and the Ferrari 488, which forms the base of its GT3 weapon that will compete in the Bathurst 12 Hour courtesy of Maranello Motorsport.
It is yet to be confirmed who will pilot the cars during the demonstration laps.
The laps will form part of a trackside display of Ferrari’s most iconic cars including the F40, 599 GTO and the GTC4 Lusso T.

“This event provides a fantastic opportunity for Ferrari to celebrate our racing heritage, engage with our customers, and showcase Ferrari’s epic performance cars to fans of the brand who follow the racing scene so closely.
“We will be putting on an event that is uniquely Ferrari and we are hoping that our fans and customers will come to the Mountain with their vehicles to enjoy the weekend and one of Australia’s fastest growing events.
“We are thrilled to see many of our Australian customers get to the track to join and Ferrari fans everywhere trackside to see the Ferrari teams try and win again – in racing cars based on what we sell for the road.”
